Dr. Mark Lacey is president of the International Pest Management Network (IPM), a consulting firm based in New Castle, Del. and northeast district sales manager for Liphatech, Inc. A 1971 graduate of the University of Delaware, he earned both his master’s and Ph.D. in entomology from Cornell University.
Lacey is a frequent speaker on a wide variety of topics at local, state, regional and national meetings, including the annual Purdue University Pest Control Conference, National Pest Management Association Convention & Trade Show and the NPMA Eastern Conference. In 1993, he was invited to present a paper on spiders at the Australian Environmental Pest Managers Annual Conference in Queensland, Australia, where he was the sole U.S. representative on the program.
A prolific writer, Lacey is co-author of the PCT Field Guide for the Management of Urban Spiders and the PCT Field Guide for the Management of Structure-Infesting Beetles (Volume II), as well as numerous technical articles in industry trade magazines.
Lacey, a 22 year veteran of the pest management industry, is a member of the American Entomological Society, Pi Chi Omega, Entomological Society of America and American Arachnological Society. |
