David K. Mueller, B.C.E.

David Mueller is a stored product entomologist. He is a Purdue University graduate with a degree in entomology, a board certified entomologist, and a member of Pi Chi Omega. Mueller has been the contributing editor for the fumigation chapter of both the 7th and 8th Editions of the Mallis Handbook of Pest Control and was the author of the chapter on pheromones that appeared in the 8th edition of this book.

Mueller is the owner of Insects Limited. in Westfield, Ind. The company has been involved with the research and development of pheromones for stored product insects since 1982. Insects Limited, Inc. also synthesizes new pheromones for the pest control industry.

Since 1982, Mueller has published a popular newsletter called Fumigants & Pheromones, with a circulation of 13,000 worldwide. He is the organizer of the International Fumigants & Pheromones Technical Conference and Workshop. He has made presentations at hundreds of pest management training conferences in North America, Europe, South America, the Middle East, and Australia during the past 25 years.

Mueller is married to Mary Beth, has three children, and resides in Westfield, Indiana.
